I think Alex is coming home soon.....!!
Since 5am today he has taken every feeding by mouth. Yay, Go Alex Go! The nurse told me that after 24 hours they'll take his gavage tube out - and since he's already 35 weeks they *should* let him come home! But first things first, he needs to pass his "car seat challenge" where they strap him into his car seat and watch him for 2 hours to make sure that he doesn't have any problems. (I like how they are very cautious so that I'll have peace of mind when we are out in the real world on our own.)
