Alex has been home for just over a week now and we are all getting settled into the newborn baby routine. For all his trouble eating in the NICU, Alex now has a voracious appetite and prefers to nosh every 2-3 hours. His little stomach is having some trouble digesting all the milk so he has a lot of tummy pains. :(

He is still wearing his apnea monitor 24 hours/day to track his breathing and heartrate. We will check in with the apnea clinic next week to read the data and determine how long he'll need to keep the monitor.


Kyle is enjoying his new role as big brother. He likes to tickle his brother's tiny fingers and toes and thinks it is very interesting that Alex doesn't have any teeth.
