When I got home on Sunday from my weekend sleepover with Alex I found a sick little boy - Kyle had been fighting off a mild cold for a week or so and now it's turned into a raging fever (103-104 degrees). Poor little boy!
Meanwhile, Alex was undergoing his sleep study to determine the cause and extent of his apnea. During the test Alex was hooked up to various tubes and wires and was monitored for 12 hours. The good news is that after reviewing the data, the doctors feel that Alex does not need any medication and will outgrow these small apnea episodes on his own.
The exciting news is that the doctors have determined that Alex is ready to head home...tomorrow!! Yay!
